Who this policy covers

AirTravelCover.com is run by Ashutosh Kumar as a sole proprietorship (not a registered company), operating an AI-assisted travel insurance comparison and advisory site for travellers from India. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the site, the advisor tool, or contact Ashutosh directly.

What we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

• Trip details you enter in the advisor — age, destination, trip dates and duration, and any pre-existing condition or coverage preferences you share, used only to compute matching plans and premiums.
• Contact details — name, phone number and email address, when you ask for a quote, a PDF of plan options, or to be connected with Ashutosh for the 10% discount or the flights/hotels offer.
• Account details, if you choose to sign in with Google to track reward points — your name, email address and Google account ID, nothing else from your Google account.
• Basic usage data — pages visited and general analytics, collected automatically to keep the site working and to see what’s useful.

What we don’t do

• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.
• We do not share your trip or contact details with insurers unless you explicitly ask Ashutosh to proceed with a specific plan on your behalf.
• We take no commission from insurers, so there is no financial incentive to share your details more widely than you’ve asked.

How your information is used

Your trip details are used to compute and display matching plans from the insurers we compare (Bajaj, Tata AIG, ICICI Lombard, Care Health and IndusInd). Your contact details are used to send you the plan comparison, to let Ashutosh follow up by phone or WhatsApp about arranging the discount you claimed, and — only if you opt in by signing in — to track and let you redeem reward points on a future booking.

Where it’s stored

Site data is stored with Supabase (hosted infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit) and is accessible only to Ashutosh for the purpose of following up on your enquiry. We do not maintain a public database of user information.

Your choices

You can see every premium on this site — on the home page and in the advisor — without giving us anything at all: no name, no phone number, no email, no account. Contact details are asked for only if you want Ashutosh to arrange the 10% discount for you. Signing in with Google is a separate, entirely optional step, only needed if you want the additional reward-points tracking. You can ask us to delete your stored contact and trip details at any time by emailing hello@airtravelcover.com.

Regulatory note

AirTravelCover does not sell insurance policies, does not hold an IRDAI licence, and does not act as an insurance agent or broker. It is an independent comparison and advisory tool: it shows you real premiums from the insurers’ own published rate charts, and any purchase you make happens directly with the insurer or through a licensed channel, not through this site.
